PROCEED COMPLETES ITS 100th RIGHTSIZING IN READINESS FOR HANA PROJECT
As of September 2017 Proceed completed its 100th “Rightsizing” project with Caterpillar Australia (www.cat.com/en_AU.html)
Tom Jenkins Proceeds’ Technical Director commented on this landmark saying;
“We started our Rightsizing in readiness for Hana journey over 4 years ago by building a number of tools to allow reduction in the size of a customer’s database before moving to SAP HANA. Over this time we have refined the toolset so that now we have a solution which allows a customer to work out exactly what data can be removed easily and quickly before migrating to SAP HANA providing the customer with considerable savings in their hardware and migration costs.
Collectively we have saved our first 100 customers more than 850TB of storage.
We are currently working on an even more advanced version of our Rightsizing Tool which will help automate the process”
